KALAS 국제 심포지엄 개최

한국실험동물학회(이사장 김철규) ‘2017 KALAS International Symposium’이 오는 8월 23일(수)~25일(금) 서울 연세대학교 신촌캠퍼스 백양누리에서 개최된다.

이번 국제 심포지엄에서는 첫날 A홀에서 ‘Trends in Cardiovascular Research using Animal Models’, ‘Translational medicine in laboratory animal’, ‘Roles of Animal Studies for Medical Device Development’을 주제로 각각 3개의 강의가 진행된다.

24일(목)에는 ‘Laboratory Animal Monitoring’, ‘Research Ethics in Bioscience’, ‘Pathological Evaluation of Efficacy and Safety in Laboratory Animal’, ‘Quality Control of Laboratory Animals’, ‘Status of Domestic Lab Animal Industry’ 주제 강의를 비롯해 오양석 교수를 기리는 기념 강의가 진행된다.

마지막 날은 ‘KAIACUC 워크숍’을 비롯해 실험동물 분야 발전 방향에 대해 논의하는 시간을 갖는다.
이번 국제 심포지엄에는 2개의 특강도 진행된다. 

특강 ‘Plenary Lecture 1’은 23일 미국 Afonso C. Silva가 ‘Anatomical and Functional NeuroImaging the Marmoset Brain’ 주제로, 특강 ‘Plenary Lecture 2’는 24일 일본 미야자키대학 Chihiro Koshimoto 교수가 ‘The External Validation System of Animal Experimentation and Relatio Human Resource Development Project in Japan’을 주제로 강의를  진행할 예정이다.
